Color tile compositions

I've also been playing around with these color compositions using paint samples from Home Depot. I wonder if these investigations have any potential to lead to something different.

New Portfolio 001

I've been working on the format for my new portfolio and I'm pretty satisfied with this idea so far. Each project will get a gatefold spread, with a large graphic opposite descriptive text, and supporting graphics inside the gatefold.

I will be showcasing a wide variety of projects across a range of topics of investigation, highlighting my responses to each. Hopefully this will yield a document thick enough to be bound using book studs, a distinctive binding method usually used for carpet sample books.

One thing I'm unsure of is whether one gatefold will be enough for some projects. In some cases I may insert additional non-gatefold pages as the project requires.

I will try to post more updates as I work on the document.
